Important Guidelines for Umrah Pilgrims with HolyTravels
Embrace the spiritual essence of Umrah by responding to Allah’s call with sincerity. As you don the simple Ihram, let go of worldly comforts and focus on your devotion to the Creator.
Research and Planning
Thoroughly research the Umrah packages we offer. Our team ensures that all package information is accurate and clear, with all prices listed in Saudi Riyals.
Booking and Payment
Note that package prices may fluctuate. You are responsible for paying any differences if the package price decreases after your purchase. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation and may change without notice.
Travel and Documents
Ensure that all necessary documents are in order for the visa application process. While we assist with the electronic application, we are not responsible for visa denials or errors in your documentation. Please bring your passport and any other supporting documents at least three weeks prior to departure.
Airport Procedures
Arrive at the airport 3-4 hours before departure. Be aware of your luggage allowance and manage your baggage throughout the journey, as liquids over 100 milliliters are not allowed in carry-on luggage.
Communications and Guidance
Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, purchase a Saudi SIM card for easier communication. Look for the HolyTravels representative who will guide you through the immigration and customs processes and to your transportation.
Security and Identification
Wearing wristbands provided by HolyTravels is mandatory for identification and security purposes during your trip.
Health and Safety
Carry all necessary medications and medical records in your hand luggage. Consider packing dry foods and emergency supplies to last a few days in case of delays.
Financial Tips
It is advisable to carry currency in pounds, which can be exchanged at local banks in Saudi Arabia. Do not carry large sums of money with you at all times.
Arrival and Accommodation
The journey from the airport to your accommodation in Makkah can take between 8 to 12 hours. Due to the volume of pilgrims, delays are common; hence, patience is required.
Staying Informed and Prepared
Always keep an eye on the arrival and departure screens at airports and ensure timely arrival to avoid missing your flights. Review all travel documents before you depart from home.
By adhering to these guidelines, you will ensure a focused and fulfilling Umrah experience. At HolyTravels, we strive to make your spiritual journey as smooth and meaningful as possible.
